I would just like to comment on the wonderful apartment we stayed in. The lady Owner was very informative and very helpful she could not have done enough for us. The apartment was very clean and the wraparound balcony was a real hit with us. My only negative comment would be that in the evenings if there are 3 or more staying that a comfy armchair instead of the wicker chair would just make the stay more complete. We will be back and would not hesitate to recommend the apartment.

Dear feel home in Rome! We were so satisfied with this 8 days at the vatican wall: clean, airy appartment, english speaking owner, quiet, short way to large food market. Everything was perfect, except for that the bedroom should have more dark curtains to stop the morning sunshine. We would not hesitate to come back the the very same appartment!!! All the best!

Dear Team, We had a wonderful few days in Rome last week. The apartment was in a super location, minutes from the metro, well served by bus routes, less than 20 minutes walking from St Peter's and situated in a quiet street looking out over a courtyard which made it feel like a quiet oasis in the midst of a very busy city. High recommended - wonderful hostess and very clean apartment. Thank you!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Vaticano apartment. The owner's mother, Angela, was welcoming, very helpful and the apartment was warm (during Rome's cold snap) and comfortable, light-filled and centrally located and near the Vatican, supermarkets and other shops, banks and transport (metro). Importantly for a family it has a good washing machine. The terrace on three sides of the apartment is fabulous but unfortunately we did not use it because of the cold. I would definitely consider staying there again.

We were very pleased with the Vaticano Apartment. It is spacious, nicely furnished, and very well equipped, so we immediately felt at home after the owner's kind reception. After a hectic day of sightseeing it is a relief to come home in this Roman neighbourhood where you can do your shopping just around the corner, no longer bothered by other tourists, and have dinner outside on the great terrace with views on lots of greenery and the daily life of your Roman neighbours.

This apartment has many wonderful qualities--it is near buses and a Metro stop, making navigating Rome very easy. The neighborhood has everything visitors might need--a supermarket close by, a fresh foods market within walking distance, restaurants, ice cream parlor, dry cleaners, pharmacy, cafe, etc. The apartment is very light and remained cool even during the hottest days we were there. The terrace, which wraps around three sides, has beautiful views from all sides and the plants provide privacy if wanted. The two large dogs living at the bottom of the entrance are a bit scary at first, but soon ignored our comings and comings. My husband and I stayed here for a month in May/June 2009 and highly recommend it those wanting a taste of real Roman life.

We had a great few days staying here. The Metro took us practically anywhere we wanted in the city, and we also got the feel of living in a proper, residential area of Rome. The terrace was fantastic - it's huge! - and all the rooms were really comfortable. The nearby restaurants and cafes give you the chance to experience proper Italian life without the tourist premiums the whole time - but you're only a few minutes from the most famous sites. We'd definitely stay here again and have already recommended the apartment to others. David Bennett, Glasgow, UK That last bit is true, by the way; friends of mine live just around the corner and had told me what a great area it was to stay in and mentioned that they needed somewhere for other friends of theirs to stay nearby when they were in the area (their apartment is very small), so I gave them a copy of your card and they said they'd definitely look at it whenever people are coming over. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It is a beautiful apartment and we were very comfortable. It is very well equipped and we had everything we needed.
