Frank Haeberli from Norway - CappellariApartmentStreetLevel | Rome
We spend three nights as a family of 2 adults and 3 children in the apartment. Entering a narrow side street and only a few meters away from Campo dei Fiori, the apartment is small and not a luxury, but the little space is smartly used and offers a very cosy place to stay.
...
Due to the the narrow street (the apartment is built into a former shop on street level) blinds are necessary to prevent the view into the apartment. The lovely decorated interior and lighting make the stay comfortable. The kitchen area is small, but well equipped to cook pasta and maybe a sidedish. The beds are large and ensure good sleep, and kids do like the "hideaway" bed area above the large matrimonial bed. The apartment has TV and an internet connection (both we did not use).
In the night the area is a little noisy due to the direct neighborhood to the nightlife of Campo dei Fiori, but we loved to be central and within walking distance to all important tourist sites (Piazza Navona, San Pietro, Fontana di Trevi).
In the direct neighborhood we had carpenters, antique furniture shops and the shop owners did not mind some friendly conversation, if one speaks a little bit of Italian. A small but well equipped supermarket is just five minutes away (on a small square in front of ponte Mazzini). Fresh fruit and vegetables can be found on the daily market of Campo dei Fiori and on other small market places around. We really felt embedded in true Roman city life, enjoying both the touristical part and the local smell.
When coming from or going to the airport we found it most practical to just take the cheap airline bus from the airport to Termini and from there to proceed with bus line 64 or 40 to Campo dei Fiori. Also night buses are leaving very close from the apartment.
All in all the right place to stay to experience something local right besides the large tourist attractions. We would come back.
Regards

Rome! What can I say! A city of cultural, an open museum, a place of magic and somewhere you can get lost down each road you turn.
...
The flat has been so wonderful and cozy! I will definitely be back again. Veronica & Nelson have been so helpful and glad I stayed in an area so close to everything! … only thing next time I will bring less stillettas! Enjoy your stay and visit the fortune teller next door!

Angie Smith from Washington, DC - USA - Orange Tulip Apartment | Rome
What a great time we had in your flat that we rented during our visit to Rome this past February. What a wonderful place and location! We walked down to Piaza Trilussa and bridge Sisto to see Piazza Campo Fiori, Piazza Farnese, Piazza Navona.
...
The bakery and the local
restaurants offered convenient choices for meals and snacks. All in all, I'd agree wholeheartedly with all the comments on the guest book. We had a great time and would love to visit again in the future.

Alexandra, Dmitry, Natalia from Moscow, Russia and Vadim & Mila from Barcelona, Spain - Red Tulip Apartment | Rome
Thanks Veronica & Nelson for lovely flat & service. The only problem we’re encountered was the washing machine – apart from being difficult to guess how to get the water connected (the pipe is leaking) which we’ve managed to over come, it also not just blows out the fuse but also short-circuits itself.
...
So, sorry for the water left in the washing machine – we had to stop it, pull out the wash it by hand . But it is a minor thing compared to the rest of the stay that was wonderful!! Café/Restaurant Da Paris on San Callisto is great! As is Dar Poeta pizza on Vic. De Bologna!
Tip for future visitors: I don’t know if it is better (like other suggested) to get to Vatican by 8 am but we were there by 1pm and while the rest of the crowds lunched we managed to get in by waiting only 30 mins!
Yep the flat was very nice... . Summing up:
Nice flat
Nice district
Nice city
Nice food & wine
PSS Across the river at one of the streets that go to Campo de Fiori (go across the bridge, up and left) there’s a nice Enoteca. The owner can recommend some really GOOD choices. (the name of the street is something like Balestrati.

Neal McEneaney from Dundalk, Ireland - Red Tulip Apartment | Rome

Alivia Olsan, Sarah Liles from Denver, CO - USA - White Camelia Apartment | Rome
This was an incredible place to stay. We could’nt have asked for a place much more convenient & fun. Staying in Trastevere is a must + being in this apartment made the difference.
...
Having the bakery right below, great restaurants right around the corner + such a lively around at night made us feel we were really a part of things. We would love to come back + stay sometime soon +would gladly recommend it. What a treat! Wish we could stay a little longer… it was starting to feel like home!

Bente and Tommy Foliansh Mona Hasselgard - SunFlower Apartment | Rome
We have spent some lovely days in Rome. Good warm whether with sun all the times. We have walked around in Trastevere and also around the historic city.
...
From Colosseum, Trevi, Spanish Steps, Piazza Popolo, Vatican and St. Peters Basilica. We have been here with relatives staying in flat 5 –top of this building.
|
Maggie Zubrin from Indian Hills, Arkansas - USA - Cappellari B&B | Rome
Veronica,
here is feedback regarding our recent stay at Capellari B&B.
The Capellari B&B stay could not have been nicer.
...
The hostess, Carlina, was very welcoming and kind. She spoke excellent English and offered information about the city that we found very useful
The facility is located only two blocks from Campo Fiori, which is a lively square with flower and fruit markets, as well as several Ristorante and Cafe's. We were also able to walk to many interesting areas of Rome with ease, including the Vatican, the Forum and Colleseum, the Capitoline Museum, the river and Piazza Navonna, another very lively square quite nearby.
The apartment was compact, but had everything we needed. Carlina was very good about supplying breakfast foods and strong Italian coffee. The room was made up every day, which was not expected.
Our transportation from the airport was prompt and the driver was friendly and informative.
All in all, I would give this stay four stars.

Ted, Ellen, Miranda + Nick Riccardi Coon from Kathmander - SunFlower Apartment | Rome
Lovely neighborhood + sweet apartment. Bakery across the street has wonderful bread. For internet, turn right out of the apt, then left, then left again.
...
The internet place is announced only by a neon yellow bar, just beyond the pastry shop (which is mediocre). To make this place actually sleep 4, the sofabed needs a new mattress. The current one is ok for kids, crippling to adults. Beware! As all other guests we give our THANKS to NELSON!

Laura, Michelle, Mark Brian from Belfast, Northern Ireland - Red Tulip Apartment | Rome
What a great location – after a long hot day of tramping the streets of Rome its wonderful to eat and drink in any one of the man bars and restaurants right here on one doorstep!
For a true rustic eating experience the restaurant Da Augusto – right under the corner.
...
Very local eatery and extreamebly reasonable priced. Be prepared to wait for a table!
Also – fancy a day at the beach? Try Sperlonga, a quaint town one hour away by train (Termini to Fondi, then E1 bus trip). Really nice to get away from the heat and stress of the city.
We agree with all positive comments regarding the two restaurants literally at our doorstep – good food reasonably priced and great for people – watching!
If you plan an taking wine home (we did-its expensive at home!) head the supermarket on Viale de Trastevere (inside the Oviesse department store). Plenty to choose from …
A lovely timehas been had by all- Thank you

We enjoyed this really nice + tasteful flat! We were here for five days and quikly had the feeling to be a part of the neighbourood life.

|
Sarah Brown from London, UK - White Camelia Apartment | Rome
After arriving 3 hrs later than anticipated (due to delays + a 2 hr wait for the bags at Rome airport) it was a great relax to be in this wonderful apartment.
...
A couple of glasses of wine on the fantastic terrace soon cheered us up!
The Trastevere area is wonderful. Packed with great cafés, restaurants + bars. The pizza is good over the road but if you fancy a croissant I recommend a little place on Via Benedetta (can't remember the name) just off Piazza Trilussa on the left hand side. Does good gelato as well apparently.
The apartment was a perfect base from which to explore the many amazing sites of Rome. Admittedly it is apparently noisy at night until about 1am even on Sunday night. But as others have said you can't beat'em, join'em! For a bit of peace and quiet I recommend Villa Farnesina + Orto Botanico. And finally many thanks to Veronica + her boyfriend for coping with our very late arrival!
We've had a fabulous time + will be back.
All the best

The location is perfect for all needs. Really friendly bakery next door. They helped us with directions & good cannolis. Roma is wonderful, especially Vatican City ans Fontana di Trevi.
...
The apartment is fine! Remember three phrases in Rome, you might use them… Dovè il Colosseo? Where is Colosseum? Dovè il gelato? Where is the gelato? Ho fame. I’m hungry. Voglio mangiare la pizza. I want to eat pizza. (Obviously Rome has good food).

A lovely two days in this comfy apartment from where all the sights are easily reached. We had no problems with the hot water by “staggering” our showers.
...
We recommend a “brasserie” on a side street nr the Trevi Fountain – L’Archetto. Don’t miss Pantheon, Trevi fountain and Sistine Chapel. Nb – get up early for the Vatican! Suggest you’re there by 8am. Also, horse + carriage ride was a v expensive error!!! Thank you Veronica – we had a relaxing weekend.

Thanks Veronica. This was our first time in Rome and we shopped till we dropped. The shops are great. Something to suit every pocket.
...
We bought a lot! As our son is only 5 years old we didn?t sample the night life though we can hear that there is plenty of it all around, and it goes till the ?well small hours?. We eat Italian every day (pasta ? a must (Carbonara) with a main course + of course some wine.). The wine is excellent + very reasonably priced. The local beer is ok too. We walked everywhere? We?ve had a lovely time ..

Dear Veronica
we really liked the appartment (Pellegrino) - it was spacious, well kept and well supplied. It was also in a great location being a one minute walk from Campo dei Fiori and Piazza Navona.
...
We loved going to the "Campo" for coffee, drinks, the fruit and veg market, and the great atmosphere.
Also thank you very much for helping us out when our daughter got sick - it was much appreciated!

Klaus Kremper - White Camelia Apartment | Rome
We do not know how to live the next days at home again. Without the pizza from the bakery, the morning café at “Friends”, the bruschetta, spaghetti + brass at the Osteria “I Fratelli”, it will be hard! We had the best days here & the apartment was what we had hoped for.
...
Since we cannot take this with us, we will have to come back, hopefully soon. Thanks you Veronica for your friendly help.

Per noi è stata solo una notte, ma per passarci anche una breve vacanza penso sia veramente il posto ideale, considerando anche che veramente il locale è una “CHICCA”.

Penthouse Trastevere. With the Coloseo just around the corner and the Pilazzo down the road stand a cosy little loft in somewhere unknown.
...
A small Jazz bar across the street plays smooth calming music every night of the week (CLOSED NOWADAYS), next yummy treats. Straight up the hill is a church that chimes a bell every half hour and a big Italian flag goes up once a week.
I like this town called Roma with the flag Green, White and Red stand out so clearly unlike needle or thread.
