Thank you so much for letting us stay in the apartment. All of the restaurant reccomendations were great. The local atmosphere was nice and refreshing. Luckily almost everything was within walking distance and every one is so nice. On our first night we got a walk into the lives of the locals. Our vacation to Roma will echoe through the thoughts of our mind for years to come. Not to mention our happiness will echoe through the streets of Trastevere! Our second night was just as great as the first and our third (and last) havent happened. We all had fun and we would love to come back aghain! Ciao ciao

Feedback: about feelhomeinrome: very good communication and organisation. Thank you about square Renzi apartment: very nice furnished, a lot of space for a couple, nice bathroom and excellent heating. Very,very friendly contact to the owner(thank you Flaminia). It was no problem to arrive late in the evening (11 p.m.)- we didnŽt pay an extra charge. We would stay there again. For us it was the perfect location, because Trastevere is the place to be in the evening. Excellent and cheep restaurants within 2 minutes and a lot of nice bars. On weekend it is very busy,but we didnŽt have problems to sleep. All other places of interest are easy to reach by feet: Campo dei Fiori 10 minutes, Piazza Navona or Piazza Venezia 15 minutes, San Pietro or Piazza di Spagna 25 minutes. We would stay there again in german: sehr schönes Apartment, tolle Einrichtung, schönes Bad, alles funktioniert perfekt- auch die Heizung. Sehr netter Kontakt zur Vermieterin, die auch gut Englisch spricht. Die Lage der Wohnung war ideal, da Trastevere alles für den Abend bietet, was man braucht. Sehr gute und günstige Restaurants gibt es in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Alles andere war schnell und problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen: 10 Minuten zum Campo dei Fiori, 15 Minuten zur Piazza Navona und Piazza Venezia, 25 Minuten zum Vatikan und zur spanischen Treppe. Allabendlich sind die Straßen von Trastevere voll mit Menschen, aber die Piazza Renzi ist eher ruhig- da es auch so gut wie keinen Verkehr gibt. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort wohnen, da für römische Verhältnisse auch das Preis- Leistungsverhältniss stimmt.

A fantastic holiday. Rome has so much to offer! A lovely apartment, very homely and a great location. We felt at home straight away. We will certainly be back! P.S. The bakery across the road is fab!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Spanish Steps Apartment. Our plane was a bit late arriving, but the driver and the owner were waiting for us. The apartment is just as pictured in the photographs. The three bedrooms were perfect for our family. The airconditioning kept the apartment cool when it was very hot outside. The atmosphere of the area is wonderful - one could lean out the window and listen to street musicians playing at the nearby outdoor restaurants on the cobblestoned street. The apartment is in an ideal central location within walking distance of the major sites in Rome. The metro was nearby and easily accessible.We were very impressed by the quick response by the Feelhomeinrome staff to questions we had prior to booking. We had a very memorable stay in the heart of Rome.

It is a lovely place to stay in Rome. We enjoyed every minute of it! Especially the terrace with the nice view to have breakfast. Thank you for this nice holiday. It was great to be in Rome this way.

We liked the place - above all - the take the breakfast on the roof terrace with the view to Gianicolli. As for the capital of the world there is no need to repeat the laudations. PS A two sets of towels would have been fine. The dishes could be supplemented.

We had a great few days staying here. The Metro took us practically anywhere we wanted in the city, and we also got the feel of living in a proper, residential area of Rome. The terrace was fantastic - it's huge! - and all the rooms were really comfortable. The nearby restaurants and cafes give you the chance to experience proper Italian life without the tourist premiums the whole time - but you're only a few minutes from the most famous sites. We'd definitely stay here again and have already recommended the apartment to others. David Bennett, Glasgow, UK That last bit is true, by the way; friends of mine live just around the corner and had told me what a great area it was to stay in and mentioned that they needed somewhere for other friends of theirs to stay nearby when they were in the area (their apartment is very small), so I gave them a copy of your card and they said they'd definitely look at it whenever people are coming over. Hi there, We had a great time in Rome. The apartment was lovely, it was so nice to walk straight out of the front door into the centre of the city. We were able to walk to many of the attractions, and the street we were on had no less than 7 restaurants and 2 coffee bars. And because we had the apartment we could go and get fresh bread and pastries each morning to eat at home. It felt so much more comfortable and relaxed than having to get two hotel room (and better value I think). The owner was very helpful - we landed from our cruise 3 hours earlier than expected but the owner told us to come on over, and allowed us in straightaway. And at the end of our stay, the car you sent for us was early, and right outside, so we were at the airport in plenty of time, and no stress! Thanks very much for your help. I would certainly use Feelhomeinrome again, and would recommend it to anyone Best regards

This has been a wonderful place to call home for our still - too - short stay in Rome. The apartment was extremely comfortable and the terrace a wonderful, breezy bonus after the hot days. A beautiful peaceful neighborhood in the morning... we enjoyed the aroma and products from the bakery across the way and spent some good time on the English bookstore around the corner.

Our family had a fantastic time here in Rome. The apartment is close to everything we wanted to see! Even though we didn’t stay long we managed to see everything. The apartment is very comfortable especially after a tiring day walking.

The parking spot was a big plus - very secure, so no worries about the rental car. I would stay there again anytime!

The Pellegrino apartment was an absolutely perfect bolt-hole in Rome. There’s really nothing better than being able to feel at home in a strange city, something no hotel can really offer. This apartment was quiet, spacious and perfectly situated in the middle of the action. The service was smooth as silk, I can recommend it without hesitation.

After arriving 3 hrs later than anticipated (due to delays + a 2 hr wait for the bags at Rome airport) it was a great relax to be in this wonderful apartment. A couple of glasses of wine on the fantastic terrace soon cheered us up! The Trastevere area is wonderful. Packed with great cafés, restaurants + bars. The pizza is good over the road but if you fancy a croissant I recommend a little place on Via Benedetta (can't remember the name) just off Piazza Trilussa on the left hand side. Does good gelato as well apparently. The apartment was a perfect base from which to explore the many amazing sites of Rome. Admittedly it is apparently noisy at night until about 1am even on Sunday night. But as others have said you can't beat'em, join'em! For a bit of peace and quiet I recommend Villa Farnesina + Orto Botanico. And finally many thanks to Veronica + her boyfriend for coping with our very late arrival! We've had a fabulous time + will be back. All the best

This was an incredible place to stay. We could’nt have asked for a place much more convenient & fun. Staying in Trastevere is a must + being in this apartment made the difference. Having the bakery right below, great restaurants right around the corner + such a lively around at night made us feel we were really a part of things. We would love to come back + stay sometime soon +would gladly recommend it. What a treat! Wish we could stay a little longer… it was starting to feel like home!

Hi We had a lovely weekend, The flat was easy to get to and we were met at the property . It was convenient and spacious and good value. Just a few irritations, the coffee maker didnt work. there were no teatowels or shower mats. there was a hair dryer but it didnt work. otherwise , no problems and I would recommend it. best wishes

Nous avons séjourné dans cet appartement du 27 novembre au 2 décembre. Agréable, calme et très bien situé nous avons pu découvrir à pied tous les endroits intéressants de Rome. Le métro piazza di spagna est à 200m. Les propriétaires sont francophiles et parlent bien français. Ils sont charmants et discrets. Vous passerez un excellent séjour en demeurant dans ce logement

Thanks Veronica. This was our first time in Rome and we shopped till we dropped. The shops are great. Something to suit every pocket. We bought a lot! As our son is only 5 years old we didn?t sample the night life though we can hear that there is plenty of it all around, and it goes till the ?well small hours?. We eat Italian every day (pasta ? a must (Carbonara) with a main course + of course some wine.). The wine is excellent + very reasonably priced. The local beer is ok too. We walked everywhere? We?ve had a lovely time ..

We had a wonderful stay in the Scarpetta apartment. It was a beautiful place with everything we could have wished for including spacious living area, good shower and second bathroom and aircon in all rooms. Very convenient location and in the heart of the real old Rome with great atmosphere, endless choice of restaurants and walking distance accross the Tiber to all the main areas of historic interest. Beats staying in a hotel by miles and would definitely return!

Dear Veronica, we (a family of four, children age 12 and 17) did have a wonderful time. It was a lucky, last minute decision, to choose the apartment in Via Guialia close to Campo di Fiori. There was no TV, no Internet; we had ourselves and the amazing historical attractions of Rome all around us. Absolutely noise free sleep is luxury in the middle of a big city. The building is old, but there was no old smells even in the closet. The apartment was bright and clean. No roof top view, which was ok since it was hot during this week. The apartment gave us privacy and an interesting historical setting. For every day the food vendors at the market gave us a better welcome. It you get help to pick the right tomatoes in July they are a gourmet threat in themselves. The last morning before departure I went for a walk alone by the river Tiber. Soon I was on top of the Kaptol close by with a view to Forum. My advice for visitors to prepare for a stay at this apartment is to read "ROMA" by Steven Saylor, a historic novel. The Via del Cipresso apartment was fantastic! It was large and spacious and although it was sparsely furnished, it was clean and comfortable. Two bathrooms were a definite plus with a family with teenagers! It is close to everything -- great restaurants, bakeries, pastry shops, and public transportation. There is a tiny courtyard that looks as if it might be nice in the summer, but we didn't use it in a rainy December. It is located in a lively area but the apartment itself is quiet as there are no windows facing the street. Our family would definitely stay in this apartment again.

We had a most pleasant stay here in Trastevere. The apartment is located in the middle of everything! The roof-terrace is magnificent. We are only sorry that the whether was too bad that we didn'nt use it very much. We also missed the hot water in the kichenette. Thank you very much!

Rome! What can I say! A city of cultural, an open museum, a place of magic and somewhere you can get lost down each road you turn. The flat has been so wonderful and cozy! We had a fantastic stay in Rome and in particular, in Trastevere. This apartment was a perfect place for our little family. Our 8 year old enjoyed exploring the Trastevere and our little baby was welcomed everywhere we went. It beats all the touristy areas of Rome plus doesn’t break the bank! As far as the little noise at night it only adds to the atmosphere … its like a festival here! Thank you very much to Veronica and Nelson for making our stay so comfortable and easy. Grazie mille.

We really enjoyed our stay in Roma! We brought the fine weather with us from Sweden. This apartment has absolutely the perfect location in the best part of Roma to stay in. Close to everything. This was an incredible place to stay. We could’nt have asked for a place much more convenient & fun. Staying in Trastevere is a must + being in this apartment made the difference. Having the bakery right below, great restaurants right around the corner + such a lively around at night made us feel we were really a part of things. We would love to come back + stay sometime soon +would gladly recommend it. What a treat! Wish we could stay a little longer… it was starting to feel like home!

We enjoyed this really nice + tasteful flat! We were here for five days and quikly had the feeling to be a part of the neighbourood life. Some tips: Sunday go to the Porta Portese huge flea market. Rent a Scooter (if you are use to it!). Nice bar for the evening Via Politeama.

Yes, Rome is a wonderful city. Yes, the place is just busting with history. Yes, Trastevere is heavenly in the morning + bustling at night.Yes, the bakery is delicious. But when your legs are weavy + you are done with all the ancient stuff, this apartment is the most beautiful oasis of calm!

The apartment was great, at walking range to the most important views of Rome, and with all the required pleasantries. Since we all are going to visit Rome again, at least if we believe the legend of fountain of Trevi, we wish we can use this nice apartment again for we have such fond memories of it.

Wonderful autumn days in a wonderful apartment with terrace to sunshine in a wonderful Rome.

Ciao Veronica, mille grazie. We very much enjoyed our stay here. We ended up cooking our dinner here which was lovely. Fresh pasta at Pasta al uovo, the buther shop, + the bakery across the way made cooking easy + special. Afterward, we would take long walks through Trastevere and the rest of the city.. A couple of suggestionswhich you have probably heard before. 1) a thicker + bigger bath floor mat, please; 2) 3 sets of towels; 3) a new fresh roll of paper towels + toilet paper available. The apartment location was perfect and within easy walking distance of the Vatican and Castel St Angelo. There is a great variety of activities taking place along the riverside in the evenings. The bus stop for the tour buses is right at the end of Via Paola so it is really easy to pick up the bus and visit the main tourist attractions. The apartment was very comfortable and the owners, who live in the same building, were extremely helpful and friendly. There is a small supermarket close by where you can get the basics - milk, bread, cornflakes!!, etc. The whole experience of booking through Feelhomeinrome was very easy. I also made contact by telephone and email and found them very helpful on each occasion. I fully intend to return to Rome and will book through them again.

Thank you for a cosy-warm time in Rome. After the initial shock of the graffitived neighbourhood we found the apartment a quiet haven from the hustle & bustle of Rome. The English bookstore around the corner was a well spring of information & wonderful books. The party scene outside the windows was truly a Roman experience.

Very comfortable flat in good area. We can recommend for eating: Mario's - very friendly, good food, and on the doorstep. Navona - Piazza Popolo. We went into rest. very good value + food + service (wine 9 €). Open tour - Roma - 48 tour. Bus pass excellent value. Most enjoyable concert at St Paul's in the wall. Tickets bough outside Pantheon.

Wow! This place is great. We stayed there for 4 nights in March and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is fantastic. This is definitely the way to go when visiting Rome. I highly recommend it.

The White Camelia is a beautiful apartment perfectly situated in the heart of Trastevere. It felt like we were living in Rome not just visiting. The roof terrace gets the sun all day and has a lovely view. Beats staying in a hotel anytime would definitely go back Veronica and Nelson are extremely helpful.

We had a wonderful time in Rome. Veronica fron the FeelHome team was terrific to deal with. The apartment was ideally situated- an easy walk to the Vatican, Colosseum, Palatino, Circus Maximus. Thank you for being here in this nice apartment. My sister and me, we visited Rome once before and this time we visited this wonderful city with our parents. We could reach every interesting point and sometimes we missed a lift to the apartment. The atmosphere in the quartier was typical, except the bakery across the street (there's never enough bread in the shop). We have a lot of fun and hope to come back.

Square Renzi Apartment proved to be an excellent base for our first trip to Rome. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who was most helpful and generous, leaving us to enjoy the comfortable and stylish apartment with everything we needed for our stay. It worked very well as a base for two, within easy access of central Rome, and was well placed to enjoy the attractions of the local area without being disturbed. Dear feelhomeinrome / Veronika and Nelson, Thank-you so much for having us! Four mid-twenties girls on a weekend away, truly one of the best trips away we have ever enjoyed. Where to start? The apartment: The apartment was light, airy and very spacious. The fully fitted kitchen didn't get much use, apart from chilling our wine but it was good to know it was available if we needed to use it. The beds were very comfy and lots of space to hang things up. We loved the views from the windows, the beautiful shutters and little window sills to sit on and how the apartment looked over such a busy street. There is a little noise from being in such a busy area, but it's light friendly chatter and just adds to the holiday feel! The bathroom was clean and good, although a shower curtain would be a great addition. The balcony was in the perfect place, getting all the late evening sun. We spent every evening happily drinking on the balcony watching the sun go down before starting to get ready to go to dinner and go out. Oh, and bring your strongest legs to carry your suitcases up to the top floor apartment, there is no lift! The area: Trastevere is the best area to be in, bar none. This apartment is in such a great location, as it's right in the heart of Trastevere but still walking distance to the main piazzas, the Colesseum, the Vatican, the Pantheon, Trevi fountain etc. Walk along the river and across the park to the Colesseum, a very pleasant walk. And don't forget to see the Palantine Hill / Forum Trastevere is the best area for bars and restaurants. It's where the locals live and we saw hardly any other English people while there. The prices are significantly lower but the quality significantly better, and everyone was so friendly! We spoke hardly any Italian but they appreciated us trying :) There are so many good restaurants so it's hard to name any really good ones, but one tip is to appreciate that the Italians have a much slower pace of life, so will encourage you to take your time over lunch and relax The bakery directly across from the apartment is divine Rome: In terms of sights, all the usuals (as above) are must sees. We could also highly recommend hiring a four-person bike - we did with hilarious results (and don't forget you are allowed to cycle both ways down one way streets) Get up early and go to Campo de' Fiori (ten mins walk away) to see the flower markets Try the Amatriciana pasta, delicious! And the litre carafes of house red wine are delicious and very cheap Try and stay away from the touristy areas to eat - we highly recommend seeing the sights during the day and coming back to Trastevere for dinner in the evening Thank-you so much for such a good stay. This is really a great place. So is Rome. The whirlpool was great the big bed was very comfortable. The stair well could use some lighting. But really the apartment is nice and people in the local stores were friendly. Good little grocery store around the corner.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Vaticano apartment. The owner's mother, Angela, was welcoming, very helpful and the apartment was warm (during Rome's cold snap) and comfortable, light-filled and centrally located and near the Vatican, supermarkets and other shops, banks and transport (metro). Importantly for a family it has a good washing machine. The terrace on three sides of the apartment is fabulous but unfortunately we did not use it because of the cold. I would definitely consider staying there again.

This apartment has many wonderful qualities--it is near buses and a Metro stop, making navigating Rome very easy. The neighborhood has everything visitors might need--a supermarket close by, a fresh foods market within walking distance, restaurants, ice cream parlor, dry cleaners, pharmacy, cafe, etc. The apartment is very light and remained cool even during the hottest days we were there. The terrace, which wraps around three sides, has beautiful views from all sides and the plants provide privacy if wanted. The two large dogs living at the bottom of the entrance are a bit scary at first, but soon ignored our comings and comings. My husband and I stayed here for a month in May/June 2009 and highly recommend it those wanting a taste of real Roman life.

A fantastic visit to Roma was made all the more special by our stay here. Both the apartment and the area of Trasetvere will be recommended to friends and family.

We were very pleased with our stay in Rome and in the Guilia Apartment. Like other guests who have stayed in this apartment we appreciated the location, the beatiful old house, the calm environment, the kind and helpful hostess and the helpful boy who met us when we came. We heard nothing from the traffic outside, nothing from the neighbours and we slept very well in the comfortable beds. We didn´t use any local traffic, because everything we wanted to see was in walking distances (also for the children, 11 and 12 years old). Foodstores, cosy coffe- and icecream-bars and restaurants were also all nearby. So thank you so much for making our stay comfortable and easy (it was the first time we were in Rome)! Yours

enjoyed staying at the apartment and thought it was ideally located. It was quite basic but it was very convenient having the local shops/restaurants right on the doorstep and I found the owners helpful and friendly. It was also great to be able to walk to the main sights although the number 23 bus was useful for the Vatican (cross Ponte Sisto and turn right to the bus stop). The area felt very safe and, apart from the Saturday night when there was a lot of noise outside, it was very peaceful. I would advise guests to be careful with the kettle which is quite dangerous and it would be good to have another couple of tea towels, some bowls and a plug for the sink in the kitchen. I recommend a free tour of St Peter's on a Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9.45am. You don't need to book - just turn up at the information desk there. The gelati is delicious and we had a very nice evening in the restaurant across from the flat.

Your apartment was the perfect location for our stay in Rome. On the days we walked from one side of the city to the other and back, we were very happy that we had so many restaurants to choose from. Street was active during the day but loved how it came alive at night, and you can't hear it from the apartment. The apartment was clean and very comfortable, although future guests should just manage their use of hot water so that everyone can take a warm shower! Veronica was both accessible and responsive. We will be returning ASAP.
