The beautiful century baroque church Santa Maria alle Fornaci, 100 metres away, can be seen from the living room window; and towering above the neighbourhood, Saint Peter’s Basilica, is just one minute’walk away.

The apartment is extremely well located, with some of the most interesting sites of the ancient city – the Vatican Museum, Trastevere and the River Tevere itself, Castel Sant’Angelo and the wonderful Via Giulia - only a five minute stroll. Walk a little bit further – 15 minutes – and you reach some of the most well-known landmarks of the city: Piazza Navona, the Campo dei Fiori, and the elegant shopping streets around the Piazza del Popolo. Another ten minutes and you are at the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the new Ara Pacis Augustae museum, and the enchanting Villa Pamphili, with its verdant park and rich surroundings.

The apartment is well connected for public transport. The no. 64 bus, which stops 200 metres from the building, takes you directly to Termini station; Ottaviano metro station is 15 minutes walk away; and from San Pietro Station, 800 metres away, you can take trains to Ostiense - and from there to Fiumicino airport, or to towns such as Viterbo, Cesano or Civitavecchia.
