Dear Veronica, we enjoyed our stay that much. This part of Rome is beautiful and the apartment too. Maybe some day we'll come back :-)

All and all this place was good to stay at for our first time in Italy. The location is perfect! Inside it is quiet but if you want action just go out and sit on stoop, there is lots of room for people to steep, beds are comfy... apartment & neighborhood feel very safe. Thanks for arranging all our transportation Veronica! Everything went so nicely.

Veronica, your apartment is lovely, we've had lots of fun. We recommend a juice , Arancia Rossa, from the super market. But don't drink it after you have just brushed your teeth, it turns horrible. Here are some tips for future guests: The phone by the door has a intercome, the top button opens the door to the street, the button at the bottom opens the gate. We also recomend the internet cafe down the street. Also the bakery next to it In our travels around we went to Ostia Antica we recomend it to people who want to see stuff from Ancient Rome. We have left a map for future reference. This is great. Your sincerly

Hi Veronica, a perfect base for us to use during our stay. I must say - I was reading some comments from this book - "who needs a microwave in Rome!?!" Anyway, really nice apartment. Ci sentiamo presto!

Dear Veronica (and Nelson), we have spent some lovely days in your apartment. The destination is perfect for seeing / visiting all we wanted in Rome. Also the area has so many places to go in the evening to eat etc. In both cases it is very comfortable to reach when we have had enough of all the noice (what a trafic) and wanted to go "home". Even though we have seen a lot and are looking forward to go home there is still a lot we would like to see here - it is an amasing city. Should we ever return to Rome we would sure like to stay in your apartment. Thanks you very much.

Dear Veronica, the apartment was perfect for our needs - not a thing to complain about! This was our first trip to Rome. We could not be more pleased with the location! We would have absolutely no hesitation to return. We look forward to it! Thanks a million for everything!

Dear Veronica, We've just arrived home after a fabulous 4 days in Rome and we wanted to say that we thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and it was perfect for our holiday needs. The location is superb and it made traveling with a 3 year old so easy. We were able to walk everywhere and were never too far away if we needed to get home quickly. Thank you again for your help arranging for a car service. Our whole experience has been a pleasure. I look forward to recommending your apartment to friends. Mille Grazie! Katie, Dan and Natalie (PS. Our friend from San Francisco thought the apartment was great too!)

This is a second visit to Rome and it was amazing as we remembered. The apartment was great, in the perfect location and we felt right at home. Nice and clean with all the basics we would definitely stay here again. Thanks Veronica. Some top tips for future guests: 1. Use a somepan to boil water for tea, much quiter than the kettle. 2. When you’ve walked for miles around the Vatican look for the no. 23 bus to bring you home. 3. Visit St Ignazio for ceilings that revail the Sistine Chapel. 4. Eat as much ice cream as you can, it’s delicious!!! Once again many thanks to Veronica

Thanks Veronica & Nelson for lovely flat & service. The only problem we’re encountered was the washing machine – apart from being difficult to guess how to get the water connected (the pipe is leaking) which we’ve managed to over come, it also not just blows out the fuse but also short-circuits itself. So, sorry for the water left in the washing machine – we had to stop it, pull out the wash it by hand . But it is a minor thing compared to the rest of the stay that was wonderful!! Café/Restaurant Da Paris on San Callisto is great! As is Dar Poeta pizza on Vic. De Bologna! Tip for future visitors: I don’t know if it is better (like other suggested) to get to Vatican by 8 am but we were there by 1pm and while the rest of the crowds lunched we managed to get in by waiting only 30 mins! Yep the flat was very nice... . Summing up: Nice flat Nice district Nice city Nice food & wine PSS Across the river at one of the streets that go to Campo de Fiori (go across the bridge, up and left) there’s a nice Enoteca. The owner can recommend some really GOOD choices. (the name of the street is something like Balestrati.

Thank you for a lovely stay in Rome. The flat was right in the centre of everything and we could go everywhere by foot… Rome is definitely what people say it is: beautiful! The 10 days we spent here were lovely. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay in Roma! We brought the fine weather with us from Sweden. This apartment has absolutely the perfect location in the best part of Roma to stay in. Close to everything. We enjoyed not having the heavy trafic in the area. Coming in to this apartment was like coming home. We also love Ikea! Thank you so much from 3 "ladies" from Sweden.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Rome. We lost a pair of shoes by walking the streets... and still we were only able to see part of Rome. Nice lifely neighbourhood, small but nice flat. A great holiday!

April 2007
A lovely two days in this comfy apartment from where all the sights are easily reached. We had no problems with the hot water by “staggering” our showers. We recommend a “brasserie” on a side street nr the Trevi Fountain – L’Archetto. Don’t miss Pantheon, Trevi fountain and Sistine Chapel. Nb – get up early for the Vatican! Suggest you’re there by 8am. Also, horse + carriage ride was a v expensive error!!! Thank you Veronica – we had a relaxing weekend.
Wordie family - Cathy, Chris, Tim&Alex from York, England

April 2007
We really enjoyed our time here. Having an apartment, which is directly in the city, was great. We could get everywhere by walking easily. The apartment is really nice and comfortable and a good place to stay in Rome. We definitely would like to come back and have another stay here!
Ulrike, Dorothy from Germany

Hey Veronica! I just want to thank you for 5 beautiful days in your apartment in Trastevere. Everything was fine and exactly as we expected. I hope you will allow us to do it again in the future. The taxi worked out fine as well, so I have nothing to claim about. Thanks again... Best regards

The location is perfect for all needs. Really friendly bakery next door. They helped us with directions & good cannolis. Roma is wonderful, especially Vatican City ans Fontana di Trevi. The apartment is fine! Remember three phrases in Rome, you might use them… Dovè il Colosseo? Where is Colosseum? Dovè il gelato? Where is the gelato? Ho fame. I’m hungry. Voglio mangiare la pizza. I want to eat pizza. (Obviously Rome has good food).

The perfect home base for a European getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Red Tulip apartment. The trip was fabulous and we loved our accommodation in Trastevere. The apartment was very comfortable and offered a welcome feeling at the end of our busy days. Veronica had great suggestions for us with respect to where to dine, what to do, and where to shop! We especially loved the shoes-tour you organised for us!!!

Chouette appartement, formidable quartier, ville extraordinaire, séjour mémorable... A recommander: les petits restaus de la rue, bons et raisonnables en prix, repas à déguster avec les petits vins blancs de la casa. Nous rentrons en France heureux. Thank you so much for letting us stay in the apartment. All of the restaurant reccomendations were great. The local atmosphere was nice and refreshing. Luckily almost everything was within walking distance and every one is so nice. On our first night we got a walk into the lives of the locals. Our vacation to Roma will echoe through the thoughts of our mind for years to come. Not to mention our happiness will echoe through the streets of Trastevere! Our second night was just as great as the first and our third (and last) havent happened. We all had fun and we would love to come back aghain! Ciao ciao

Thank you very much for a nice stay in a pefect situated apartment. The weather has been very good, although a little bit warm for people from the high north of Norway. Walking the Forum Romanumin 35° is pretty heavy. We survived. The interest for the historical facts among the children was a little bit lower than expected. We have noticed the address and will take contact next time we are in Rome. Best wishes.

June 22 2006
The apartment was great, at walking range to the most important views of Rome, and with all the required pleasantries. Since we all are going to visit Rome again, at least if we believe the legend of fountain of Trevi, we wish we can use this nice apartment again for we have such fond memories of it.

We had a fantastic time in Rome. The apartment is great and in a really good location. There are great restaurants and activity within a few steps of the front door! Yet the apartment is still very quiet. We will come back to Rome again and will definitely stay ion the Trastevere Apartment Regards + thanks

May 2006
What a great location – after a long hot day of tramping the streets of Rome its wonderful to eat and drink in any one of the man bars and restaurants right here on one doorstep! For a true rustic eating experience the restaurant Da Augusto – right under the corner. Very local eatery and extreamebly reasonable priced. Be prepared to wait for a table! Also – fancy a day at the beach? Try Sperlonga, a quaint town one hour away by train (Termini to Fondi, then E1 bus trip). Really nice to get away from the heat and stress of the city. We agree with all positive comments regarding the two restaurants literally at our doorstep – good food reasonably priced and great for people – watching! If you plan an taking wine home (we did-its expensive at home!) head the supermarket on Viale de Trastevere (inside the Oviesse department store). Plenty to choose from … A lovely timehas been had by all- Thank you

Our first time in Rome. The apartment is well situated and we walked everywhere. The apartment is a good size for the three of us and it meets all our needs. It’s good to have no TV. The shops and café/bars nearby are good. .. It’s a good place to explore + shop. We are now moving to Veronica's other apartment..
