Trastevere apartment, Rome: Scarpetta - Guest Reviews
Hip and elegant 2BR / 2BA vacation rental apartment in the Trastevere area with Internet
February 2010
Dear Veronica.
We found the Via Titta Scarpetta apartment as something quite special; its location is perfect to visit the city on foot, and the apartment offers all the conveniences for an enjoyable and prolonged stay in Rome.
I can only warmly recommend Veronica, she delivers what she promises.
Mille gracie, Veronica, for your great efforts.

We had a wonderful stay in the Scarpetta apartment. It was a beautiful place with everything we could have wished for including spacious living area, good shower and second bathroom and aircon in all rooms. Very convenient location and in the heart of the real old Rome with great atmosphere, endless choice of restaurants and walking distance accross the Tiber to all the main areas of historic interest. Beats staying in a hotel by miles and would definitely return!

We were delighted with our one week stay in Scarpetta. The apartment was comfortable, well furnished and in a great location, and Veronica helped get us oriented. We were particularly impressed with the attention to service. When we needed assistance with the wireless internet connection, the owner's son visited and fixed the problem. We hope to return to Rome for another visit some day and would not hesitate to recommend Scarpetta or Feel Home in Rome.
Sincerely,

All worked very well -- likely to consider repeating it.

Good location. In the lively Trastevere but not in the middle of everything.
Nice apartment for a family with two children...
The right size for a stay in a city where you can live the city, not
the apartment, but you want to feel good when resting in the apartment
before going out again for dinner.
With a good mix of modern and old furniture. And with nice details of
decoration.
There is a library with some guides of Rome an Italy (maybe fogotten
by former travellers) and some curious books. As a collection of
comics of the old british newspaper "Punch".
Not an elevator, but only a few steps (only a short trouble with the
suitcases, but not with everyday life. And stairs are not narrow).
We were there in the middle of August (the mytical "ferragosto", with
really high temperatures) and although there is no air conditioned (THE APARTMENT IS NOW PROVIDED WITH A/C), the truth is that we only missed a little bit in the evening, and with
windows opened there was current of air that made us being comfotable.
We never repeat an apartment or a hotel when travelling to a city where
we have once been.
But we wouldn't mind to repeat this apartment.

We all had a fantastic time. The apartment is ideally located - we walked to all the major sites (St Peters, Colleseum, Spanish Steps) easily and never felt like anything was too far! The apartment is within a five minute stroll to countless bars and restaurants. We always felt safe in the area around the apartment. The apartment was first class. Clean, modern and very comfortable - anything that you look for!
Superb location, superb city, superb holiday . . . . I just wish I was going back! Thanks
