This beautiful rome apartment is located at the top-floor (third floor with lift) of the famous palazzo Baldoca-Muccioli dating back to the XVI century and orned by sculptur Guglielmo della Porta in 1570. It is located in Via Giulia, one of the finest streets of central, ancient Rome, between the Tiber river and the magnificent Piazza Farnese. The much adored fresh food market in Campo dei Fiori is less than five minutes walk away and Rome’s fabulous restaurants, shopping, sight-seeing and public transport are all within exceptionally easy walking distance. Ponte Sisto, the bridge that crosses the Tiber into the fancy Trastevere area is less than one minute walk away.
This cosy and elegant rome apartment, is located on the top floor of an ancient palazzo and consists of:
- A warm living room with a comfortable long sofa, excellent for lounging or napping on during the day, a wall-to-wall mirror, an open-plan kitchenette and a dining nook with period wooden table and dining chairs. A big window overlooks the beautiful palazzo’s courtyard. The sofa converts - by sliding out from underneath - into two separate trundle twin beds;
- An intimate, yet spacious master bedroom with natural light with a king size bed and white and black colored furnishings, a large and elegant wooden wardrobe and a table at the foot of the bed;
- A clean, fresh bathroom with big shower;
- A walk-in wardrobe providing excellent storage space.
The entire apartment floor is finished with elegant black and white flower-print tiles, complimenting freshly painted white walls. Antique 19th century furniture is tastefully provided, including a wardrobe in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area for quests. The apartment receives plenty of natural light and is very quiet for sleeping at night. It is a very special Roman refuge offering space, elegance and quiet.
This noble building is meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean and boasts marble busts of Roman emperors.
Superbly located for exploring the ancient city and truly experiencing Rome as the Romans do, this apartment is ideal for two or three people and can accomodate up to four.
